My journey in photography began with digital work, where I discovered a passion for capturing moments of strength, determination, and human connection through portraits and sports photography. Over time, I expanded into film, drawn to its patience, intention, and embrace of imperfection. While digital remains at the heart of my work, film and alternative processes continue to fuel experimentation and creative growth.
Each medium offers its own perspective. With my digital camera, I capture movement, emotion, and precision. With infrared, I transform coastlines and mountains into dreamlike landscapes. In the studio, I explore portraiture and double exposures, while lumen prints allow me to step away from the camera entirely and collaborate with light itself.
My photographs have been featured in Kiteboarding Magazine (Nov 2011), Foster City Islander (May 2014), Foster City Living Local City Guide (2014–2015), and The Kiteboarder Magazine North American Travel Guide (May 2017). I was honored with the impact!2016 Excellence in Photography Award and received Congressional Recognition for my contributions to the Foster City Living Local Guide.
Photography, for me, is not just image-making but the quiet craft of shaping light and time into art—guided by imagination, vision, creativity, and patience.
Beyond the lens, I find inspiration spending time with family and friends, traveling the world to explore new cultures, giving back to the community through volunteer work, and riding the tides of life through wing foiling, scuba diving, pilates, yoga, and running.
